Introduction

Over the past year, BlockAI has focused on one clear objective: bringing practical Artificial Intelligence to the Waves ecosystem. Rather than building a single product, we have been building the AI infrastructure, tools, research, and developer resources that can be used by every Waves project. As AI evolves at an incredible pace, our approach remains intentionally flexible. Instead of following a rigid roadmap established months in advance, we continuously identify where AI can bring the highest value to the ecosystem and deliver solutions accordingly. This strategy has allowed us to rapidly support multiple Waves projects while keeping the ecosystem aligned with the latest advances in AI.

Vision for the next funding period

Artificial Intelligence is moving faster than almost any other technology. Because of this, our objective is not to follow a fixed feature list for twelve months. Instead, our mission is to continue acting as the AI innovation layer for the Waves ecosystem by rapidly delivering the solutions that projects and the community need as new opportunities emerge.

Our priorities for the coming funding period include:

- Maintain and improve existing infrastructure Continue maintaining, securing and improving all existing BlockAI services, MCP servers, AI agents, APIs and infrastructure.

- Release WAI Finalize and release WAI, our AI Wallet and AI Signer Provider, bringing AI-assisted blockchain interactions closer to production readiness.

- Prediction Market arbitrage Infrastructure Advance the development of Concordia, an innovative proxy architecture designed to bridge external prediction markets with the Waves ecosystem, creating new opportunities for automated arbitrage, liquidity, and on-chain transaction volume. While the initial focus is on the core infrastructure, future iterations may integrate AI agents to improve market analysis, opportunity discovery, execution, and autonomous strategy optimization.

- Keep Waves at the forefront of AI Continuously integrate the latest AI models as they become available (such as future GPT and Claude releases), ensuring Waves projects always have access to state-of-the-art capabilities.

- Support Waves ecosystem projects Continue collaborating directly with Waves builders to integrate AI features into existing and future applications. Current collaborations already include projects such as Arkimals, MMA Pick etc with additional ecosystem integrations planned throughout the year.

- AI & DeFi Hackathon Organize a community AI & DeFi Hackathon around September/October inviting all Waves projects to work together around it to encourage experimentation, attract developers, showcase AI capabilities on Waves, and generate new ecosystem projects.

- Research & Open Innovation Continue publishing research, experimenting with emerging AI technologies, and developing open-source tools that benefit the entire Waves ecosystem.

Why this approach?

The AI landscape changes almost monthly. A rigid roadmap would quickly become outdated. Instead, this funding enables us to continuously identify the highest-impact opportunities and rapidly deliver new AI capabilities wherever they create the most value for the Waves ecosystem. This agile approach has proven successful during the current funding period and will continue to maximize value for the DAO.

Funding Request

We request funding at: 0.8 WAVES per block for 6 months.

This funding will allow us to continue delivering AI innovation across the Waves ecosystem through:

Continuous development of new AI features and services
Maintenance and improvement of all existing BlockAI infrastructure
Operation of AI services, APIs, and backend infrastructure
Integration of AI capabilities into Waves ecosystem projects
AI research and experimentation with emerging technologies
Community initiatives such as the AI & DeFi Hackathon

Our target funding for the full year is USD 80,000, covering the operational costs required to sustainably maintain and grow the project, including:

A dedicated two-developer team
Company registration and annual compliance
Accounting and administrative services
AI model and API usage costs
Server and infrastructure expenses

If, after the first 6 months, the funding received is below the annual target due to market conditions, we may submit a second proposal covering only the remaining amount required to complete the year's objectives.
